Born in Melun in 1985, Pia-Mélissa Laroche lives in Paris. Having learnt graphic-design, she worked as an art-director until 2018 before applying herself fully to illustration. Her work, centered around the narrative image and its subjectivity can be found on all sorts of published media often depicting otherworldly scenes inhabited by fantasy characters, penned with a very precise and fine line. She regularly works for The New York Times, Libération and Télérama, the music industry and more cultural institutions like The Palais de Tokyo, Bétonsalon or Lafayette Anticipations...
