Dutch illustrator Jordy Van Den Nieuwendijk’s graphic language is instantly recognisable: dazzling and wacky motifs, primary palettes and simple chromatic lines are the leitmotiv of his work. His happy graphic style is a blend of motion and freedom, both captured through his drawing. Jordy likes to ornament his work with direct and candid shapes such as swirls, loops, corkscrews and blasts of sun. Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Art of the Hague, Jordy has worked for many prestigious clients in industries such as fashion, publishing and music.
